This is Ville. He has completed more transatlantic sailings than you have ever even been on a sailing boat. Aside from being an experienced captain he also knows his way around power tools after 10+ years in key positions at one of Sweden's biggest rental companies for construction companies. At GREEN14 he works as a process technician and is part of our team running our pilot plant.

About GREEN14

Silicon production emits 105 million tonnes CO₂ per year, almost a third of the UK’s total emissions. We want to change that. Almost all silicon is extracted using an outdated method, involving enormous amounts of coal. With our technology, green hydrogen is used to replace coal as a necessary additive for the extraction process, drastically reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
