Machine Learning and Simulation Engineer – Simulation

Mathematician by both training and passion, Andrea stumbled into AI during his MSc in the Netherlands — by mistake, it was supposed to be math courses! That happy accident led him to a renowned PhD in AI for simulations at BMW in Munich, with publications at NeurIPS (including one co-written with his wife). He's a true European and has lived in Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, and now Sweden. Beyond passion for research, Andrea is Italian and for obvious reasons as passionate in his other hobbies cooking, dancing and playing the drums.

About GREEN14

The metals and mining sector emits several giga tonnes CO₂ per year. That's equivalent to the total emissions from one of the worlds biggest countries.

We want to change that. 

Almost all critical raw materials are extracted using an outdated method, involving enormous amounts of coal. With our technology, green hydrogen is used to replace coal as a necessary additive for the extraction process, drastically reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
