This is Freya. She's a Lurcher and can best be described as loyal, full-hearted and cuddly. The guy behind her is Adam, CEO and founder of GREEN14. He's an Australian chemical engineer with an MRes in Nanomaterials from Imperial College London and innovator securing supply of critical raw materials. In his previous work looking for synthesis methods of luminescent silicon nanocrystals for the solar industry, the necessity for green silicon gave birth to GREEN14.

About GREEN14

The metals and mining sector emits several giga tonnes CO₂ per year. That's equivalent to the total emissions from one of the worlds biggest countries.

We want to change that. 

Almost all critical raw materials are extracted using an outdated method, involving enormous amounts of coal. With our technology, green hydrogen is used to replace coal as a necessary additive for the extraction process, drastically reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
